So in about an hour it will be my Birthday. Turning 30. How the time flies.
Maybe part of that is due to the fact that I basically want to erase 1/3 of that time. Well erase the memories and regain the time to use again.
I think my mind is 20. My body is actually 30, though it feels like it is almost 50. So if we do the math...
1) Spent 10 years with ex.
2) Spent 10 years in college so far, with 7 to go if not more.
3) Don't remember being 3 or younger, so take those years off too.
4) 11 years working for the same company, getting laid off last December.
So, yeah. It feels like 10 years wasted. 1/3 of my life has really become...well not very much.
I am happy about the future, it does look a little promising, while it may not hold all of my dreams to come true, I'll take 1 or 2 of them at least.
